MV'Flatholm' is a 24 metre versatile multi purpose survey ship and coastal support vessel with working area the UK and Northern Europe coasts and rivers.

Specialist areas of operation include site,pipeline and cable route assessment surveys using geotechnical (CPT, grab and vibrocore sampling), Geophysical (shallow seismic and sonar surveys)and bathymetric surveys (swath multibeam and single beam surveys). Marine renewable energy market operations additionally include deployment and recovery of metocean equipmant, Trawling and benthic studies and ornithological studies.

The vessel is for the transport of the following:
- trailers with max. load of 16 tons / axle
- Mafi type trolleys and rotable platforms with max. load 16 tons/axle - cars and lorries with max load 16 tons / axle
- handling of Mafi trolleys with max load of 20 tons/axle on 4 wheels
- uniformly distributed load of 1.5 tons / sq.m.

VERSATILE CRANE BARGE

DESCRIPTION.

FLAT TOP BARGE 35 mx 11m with 2 spud legs 20m in length.
There are 3 positions for the spud legs (2 legs aft or one leg aft and one leg fwd).
There is a 25m clear flat deck space.
She has a full stability book available on request, There is also stability calculations in place for up to a 65t x 25m long reach excavator to be placed on the bow of the barge to act as a dredger or material handler.
The crane is an 80t linkbelt hydraulic crane. The crane is in test and has a man riding certificate.
There are 2 hoist ropes on the crane, a main hook and aux hook.
The crane and barge are in great condition and will be an asset to any marine construction contract.
The barge will be supplied with a Crane driver and minimum one barge master.

Owners can also supply three HSE and ADC accredited dive teams for hull inspections, Civil/Marine diving contracts.
